Description of Work
Road improvement under the model Gram Panchayat is an important infrastructure project.
The road is approximately 2.5 km long and serves as a main transportation route for local farmers and students. Previously, the road had a dirt layer, which caused difficulties in traffic during the monsoon.
Under this project, the road was layered with gravel and a base layer, followed by bituminous coating.
The total estimated cost of the project is ₹10 Lakh. The funding was received from the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), and the work was carried out by M/s ABC Constructions.
